The Flywheel/Clutch Combo Kit – G4fj 1.6T gamma are built custom for the Veloster turbo, Forte, Forte GT Proceed gt, Elantra Gt, Elantra Sport, and 1.6 Gen 2 Veloster. Every stage is available from mild to wild and all come in under the same low price.
Our clutch kits were designed to handle up to 475HP and 400 tq. The World record Veloster turbo is running our clutch at 505hp and clutch is holding strong!
We contacted Aasco to design these lightweight flywheels to replace the horrible dual mass flywheels that are prone to failure. Dual mass flywheels have springs inside the flywheel that help smooth engagement. This creates a fail spot and will eventually fatigue and fail.
Our Aasco flywheels are a solid billet one piece flywheel that weight 10.8 lbs and work great at keeping the daily drivability of the car. The Aasco lightweight flywheel paired with our performance clutch is rated to hold up to 450HP and maximize all available horsepower the crank can send.
This Flywheel and our Clutch kits are being used on the highest HP Veloster in the world which comes in at 505HP!

Sprung discs are used in conjunction with our Aasco Flywheels to keep the drivability of the car with a performance clutch and reduce the wear on the input shaft of the transmission. OEM flywheels are dual mass which means the flywheel has springs inside the flywheel which will eventually fatigue and fail. Oem flywheels are supposed to be changed at every clutch change.
Un- Sprung discs are used with OEM flywheels as the springs are inside the dual mass flywheels. They also are used with upgraded flywheels when drivers prefer a solid hard engagement. When used with our Lightweight flywheel the drivability for daily driven cars can become tricky and harsh. For race cars many prefer the UN-sprung disc and lightweight flywheel combo. Keep in mind running this set up can cause damage to the transmission from the shock of engagement over time.
