Hyundai/Kia ARP Head Stud Kit – 1.6L Gamma engines
As you know stretching the head bolts on these motors is very common. For any of you that want to get more power this is a must to save your motor from head gasket failures due to lifted heads. This Hyundai/Kia ARP Head Stud Kit – 1.6L Gamma engines kit by Kdm Tuners are customized and ready to drop in. We mill two nuts down to 1.17″ to clear the HPFP lobe and cam sensor lobe on the camshaft, this is mandatory to do or you will destroy your motor right on start up. We also have you guys and girls reuse the factory washers, this is not because we are lazy or cheap no… This is because the factory washer actually gives more spread of the load allowing for better clamping power. The Arp washers are smaller in diameter and wont do what the factory washers do. We also include ARP lube and full instructions with our kits.
