Sxth Element SS Braided Fuel Line Install
In this video we go over the Sxth Element SS Braided Fuel line. The steps described below will aid you to installing all the different fuel lines on the market for the 1.6T. The customers car used for this install bought the Sxth Element SS Braided Fuel Line. We must say this is a high quality Fuel Line! We here at Kdm Tuners have installed the Fuel Line kits from all the supporting vendors. The Sxth Element line and fittings are hands down the easiest to deal with. With the crimped style hose ends and milled fittings, Its hard to imagine this Fuel Line would fail like others have.
The install will take a couple hours to complete with minimal tools. Messing with fuel can be a daunting task, but is relatively easy install. The install steps should be about the same from vehicle to vehicle.

Features of the Sxth Element SS Braided Fuel Line
Making sure your engine has enough fuel and consistent fuel delivery to safely make power is very important. Hyundai has issued a Technical Service Bulletin for the Low Pressure Fuel Feed Line for the Hyundai Veloster Turbo. This shares VERY similar parts to the Kia Forte SX Turbo. This fuel feed line happens to be one of those parts. The bulletin states the fuel line fails under load causing fuel starvation which makes the car hesitate and lose power.
We HIGHLY recommend replacing this line when modifying your car with performance enhancing parts. It is better to be safe than sorry.
Switching to a high flow fuel hose will slightly increase the audible noise of the high pressure fuel pump. We have observed this increase in noise with the radio off at idle, and with deceleration in gear. When you are driving, road noise and/or the radio will drown out the extra pump noise easily. The added noise will not hurt anything so not to worry!
Sxth Element line is 100% compatible with all unleaded gasolines and E85 fuels.
These lines are finished with custom SAE fittings that install cleanly with the factory high pressure fuel pump and low pressure fuel pump housing. Sxth Elements fittings WILL NEVER pop off like other fittings out there.
