Our new 4 point X support brace ties the rear of the front suspension crossmember back into the unibody to keep it locked into place! Keeping the front geometry stable and consistent is key to adding precision for the driver on the wheel! The brace is powdercoated in Anthacite for durability/long lasting finish. Designed to work perfectly with our front 2 point brace and has excellent clearance for 3″ exhaust systems! Improves handling from turn to corner exit, the X brace will transform both your daily commuter and weekend track weapon!!!
We’ve built a 2 point Chromoly alloy lower tiebar brace to help minimize the deflection in the stock crossmember, a-arm mounts and stiffens up the crossmember overall. The brace gives the driver a more precise feel at turn in thru midcorner. The 2 point brace bolts to the front of the a-arm bolts and keeps the control arm mounts from flexing which reduces the toe change in both braking and acceleration. We made our bars out of chromoly for both the strength and weight savings. The 2 point bar weighs in under 2lbs and is 200% stronger and more rigid than bars made from mild steel. The install is very easy, with common handtools a person can complete the install in under an hour. Bars come coated in anthracite.
Please specify if you have the N/A (non-turbo) DCT transmission as it requires more clearance!
The VT-ONE is the ultimate chromoly strut brace in an incredibly light, but functional one piece design. It’s incredibly rigid/strong one piece design makes it light years above the aluminum/3 pc designed bars. Absolutely one of the best chassis braces you can add to the Veloster to improve both steering feel and handling and gives the driver maximum feedback throughout the corner. By using the chromoly instead of mild steel we’re able to make the brace much lighter and stronger giving a truly dynamic driving experience! Bars come powdercoated Anthracite for a long lasting durable finish!
The Veloster is known for having a “nervous” rear end/suspension. Due to Hyundai using the twist/torsion beam back there every single time the rear tires hit a bump it literally knocks the rear out of alignment causing “bump steer” which unsettles the car resulting in a skating feeling. The Piercemotorsports rear torsion drastically reduces the rear toe change/bumpsteer by effectively adding support to the twist beam. The torsion bar acts similar to a “swaybar” helping control body roll, but more than that reduces the nervousness giving the Veloster a more confident feel and much more cornering ability during spirited/competitive drives. We’ve tuned the bar diameter/rate to match perfectly with our complete line of suspension braces and products. The bar is for both daily drivers and autocross/track cars alike and will compliment nearly all quality suspension setups! Installation is very simple and requires normal handtools/takes about 20 minutes. The bars come powdercoated White for durability and a long lasting finish as well as a limited warranty! The bars clear all aftermarket exhausts (ARK system excluded) and only require a small amount of movement to clear the oem system!
