AEM Cold Air Intake System – New Gen Hyundai and Kia
The AEM Cold Air Intake System – New Gen Hyundai and Kia produces horsepower and torque gains by replacing your vehicle’s restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing. This air intake system was designed, tuned and dyno-tested to fit specific models. Air enters the system through an oversized AEM Dryflow synthetic washable air filter for outstanding air flow, filtration and performance. The air filter is located in the original air box space and is protected by a heat shield which is designed to reduce intake air temperature and increase horsepower. The air intake tube is constructed from mandrel-bent aluminum featuring a durable gunmetal gray powder coated finish. This air intake system was developed to accommodate the engine’s factory emissions control devices including the mass airflow sensor and breather tube. The tapered cylinder shaped AEM Dryflow air filter is made from an oil-free, synthetic filter media that can be used for up to 100,000 miles before cleaning is needed (depending on driving conditions). The air intake system is easy to install with commonly available tools and it is backed by AEM’s Lifetime Limited Warranty. Some AEM air intakes are not legal for sale or use in California and other states adopting California emission standards, while others are 50 state legal. This intake goes on my 2020 Kia Forte GT extremely well. The instructions were clear and guided you through every step. The intake sounds AMAZING, but if you have a BOV, make sure you secure the recirculating BOV cap on the new intake. Mine flew away! I probably emailed Josh about 100 times asking where it was on backorder, and he was super friendly and helpful.

Love the intake but not the shipping. Paid for UPS ground but delivered by fedex which wasn’t much of an issue. The real issue was that I didn’t get a shipped notification until two hours after the delivery. Sucks having a big AEM red box sitting in the middle of your porch for the whole world to see when you’re not home cause you don’t know when it’s going to be delivered cause you don’t get the shipping notification till after it’s delivered. Seems like an easy fix that should be considered so there’s less of a chance for a porch pirate to steal such an expensive package.

Intake sounds great, way better then expected. The instructions were pretty clear and fairly simple, was able to install in less then an hour. Also the shipping was pretty fast and kdm tuners did a great job making sure I got my package.

KDM had this to my house in Canada in only a few days. Installed the unit in less then a hour with great step by step instructions with pictures to follow. Made the intake whine a lot louder then the stock unit. Great product and great service. I will keep my Forte5 tuned with KDM Tuners in the future
